We are in the process of installing and configuring the Videotex & Office Information System (VIS) on a Tandy 6000, with the hope of providing on-line Videotex demonstrations in the future. See the Hardware page for more info.
As shown on the Color Computer page, the CoCo could access online services such as CompuServe or Dow Jones, using the VIDEOTEX ROM Pak, that simply plugged into the expansion port on the CoCo. The user would of course need a telephone connection and an account on the desired service.
If you look carefully you'll see the TRS-80 Videotex Plus software binder in this collection. Tandy supported the Videotex platform through software on most of their retail computer systems.
